Jewell School District

The Jewell School District is currently seeking community members to serve on the District budget committee. There currently are four member openings on the budget committee. The budget committee plays an important role in reviewing the proposed district budget, learning about school funding, and providing input before the budget is presented to the School Board for adoption.

Committee members will work alongside School Board members and district administration during scheduled meetings in the spring. No prior budgeting or financial experience is required—just an interest in supporting our schools and learning more about how district funds are allocated.

Community members who reside within the Jewell School District boundaries are encouraged to apply. The committee typically meets for a limited number of sessions and provides a valuable opportunity for civic engagement and transparency in district operations.
