Whether you’re helping in the classroom, assisting at events, or supporting school programs, your time and effort help strengthen our community and create a positive environment for every learner.

Located in the heart of Oregon’s beautiful coastal mountains, Jewell School District serves students in grades PreK–12 and is dedicated to fostering a close-knit, supportive, and innovative learning community. Our small class sizes, hands-on programs, and strong community partnerships make Jewell a unique and rewarding place to volunteer.

How to Become a Volunteer

To ensure the safety of our students and staff, all volunteers must complete the following steps before participating in any school activities:

1. Complete a Background Check

   • A background check form must be filled out and submitted to the Jewell School District office.

   • Forms are available here: JSD Background Check Form

     • Please complete the form and return it to the District office or email it to allycec@jewellk12.org

2. Complete Volunteer Training

   • Volunteers are required to complete an online safety training through the Vector Training Platform.

   • Go to https://pacetraining-or.safeschools.com/login or scan the QR code below and click "Register."

   • Use one of the training codes below in order to complete your registration.

Once both steps are completed and approved, you’ll be added to our district’s list of approved volunteers and can begin helping with school events and activities.
